Hello all-
I've added some functionality to mock_bovine:
-You can set the maximum number of points to plot. It will maintain
the full
size dataset on its end, but only send so many to partiview
(use the 'maxpoints' command)
-You can send raw commands, or just verify them (the raw or verify
commands)
-mock_bovine now responds to the "Crop" command when you invoke it from
mock_partiview. It will crop to the partiview selection, and re-send
the data
I've also worked on commenting mock_bovine.py. If you are interested,
please take
a look, and let me know if the comments are comprehensible. Included
in the source
are instructions on how to add new commands. I've tried to make
adding things as easy
as possible.
I've been having some compatibility errors when I run on neptune, due
to different
versions of matplotlib and Numeric Python. I think I fixed them all,
but if it does
crash, please send me the python traceback (which is scribbled to
stdout) so I
can track down the problem.
Thanks-
matt
