Hardware
PHYS160 requires the use of either a Mac, PC or Linux based computer. Excel and Maple run under these Operating Systems provided that the manufacturer recommended memory and CPU type are met. Both Macs and PCs are available in the IRT open clusters for on-site use. Linux stations are available in Disque 704.

All class material for PHYS160 will be posted on the Web. We will not require that you to buy a textbook; the Web will be the textbook. It is therefore absolutely necessary that you have browser access to the Web on a Mac (Firefox, Chrome), PC (Firefox, Chrome or Explorer) or Linux (Firefox or Chrome)
