Below are the latest binaries of the kernel, remote, and client packages. We recommend building them in that order. Note that you will need a few easy to install packages (notably mpich2) to run the binaries. The install instructions will describe what else you'll need. Also, please make sure that all three packages (if you are using all 3) are the same version. That will contribute greatly to your happiness. If you have any problems, do not hesitate to us.

Source Installs
Note: Starting with v1.4, there is an important backwards incompatability. IPython has moved to version 0.90, and we are moving with them. Be sure to follow the current instructions.
If you're a bit more patient, have an operating system not listed above, will want to develop code and/or make incremental updates, or just like living on the edge, you may want to download the source codes:
Component | Release | Date | Tarball | Build/Install Instructions |
Kernel | 1.5 | 7/9/08 | Kernel Source | Kernel Build |
Remote | 1.5 | 7/9/08 | Remote Source | Remote Build |
Client | 1.5 | 7/9/08 | Client Source | Client Build |
Demos
Several demos for use with the kernel, can be found here. These can be used to test your compiling procedure, as well as give simple examples of some standard BASIN operations.

You may also download archived releases below. We recommend working with concurrent versions of the kernel, remote, and client packages.
