I completed my PhD in Cosmology at the University of Durham in 2000. My project involved analysing the Durham/UKST Redshift Survey, simulating the 2dF QSO Survey and checking the calibration of the Cepheid P-L relation. I was supervised by Tom Shanks with help from Carlton Baugh and Phil Outram. See Durham Extragalactic Astronomy.
I did my undergraduate degree in Maths
and Astrophysics at Cambridge University (the
Institute of Astronomy) and was based at Newnham College.
