Re: BASIN meeting

Reminder: BASIN meeting today at 2 pm in Disque 808.

The agenda this time will consist of open discussion of how best to
restructure the BASIN project to make it more modular and manageable.

Over the past few months (and maybe longer), we seem to have reached a
point where progress is being impeded by too many connections between
different parts of the project. The goal of the meeting will be to come
up with ways in which the various components of BASIN -- the parallel
computational kernel, the user interface, the visualization engine, and
the communications channels -- can be separated into more easily
manageable pieces.
